This Clarification Text on the Protection of Personal Data (“Clarification Text”) is deemed to have been signed on the date the Member (“Member”) completes their membership registration for the VoltiNet mobile application and/or website between VOLNET Energy Systems Industry Trade Inc., located at Büyükkılıçlı Mahallesi Hançer Sokak No 16, Silivri, Istanbul (“Company/VoltiNet”) and the party/parties creating a membership account via the VoltiNet mobile application and/or website. It is an integral part of the VoltiNet Membership Agreement (“Agreement”).
The protection of your personal data is among the most important priorities of VOLNET Energy Systems Industry Trade Inc. (“Company” or “VoltiNet”), which acts as a data controller in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”).
This Clarification Text aims to inform you about the personal data processed by our Company, including the VoltiNet website or VoltiNet mobile application, and to ensure the transparency required by the Law.
1. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data, detailed below, is processed during your use of the products and services offered by our Company, in compliance with the fundamental principles outlined in Article 4 of the Personal Data Protection Law, such as being processed lawfully and fairly, being accurate and up-to-date when necessary, being processed for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes, being relevant, limited, and proportionate to the purposes for which they are processed, and being stored for the period required by the relevant legislation or for the purpose for which they are processed. In this context;

2. PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA BASED ON YOUR EXPLICIT CONSENT
2.1 Marketing Activities
According to the Law, the explicit consent of the data subject must be obtained for the processing of personal data for certain purposes. Our Company, acting in accordance with the personal data processing conditions in the Law, will process your personal data for the purposes listed below and share them with our third-party suppliers only if you have given your approval:

Customizing and recommending our Services according to your preferences, usage habits, and needs; conducting analysis, segmentation, or targeting studies; presenting special product or service offers, new product announcements, campaigns, promotions, and conducting other marketing activities; conducting surveys and customer satisfaction measurement studies, and contacting you electronically for these purposes.
2.2 Processing of Location Data
If you consent to the processing of your location data via the VoltiNet Mobile application, your instant location is processed for the purpose of allowing you to see the nearest electric vehicle charging station on the map that will open. The location is not recorded or tracked in any system. It is displayed only momentarily based on your current location.
You have the opportunity to revoke VoltiNet Mobile application’s access to your location services at any time. This process can be done from the section related to access to location services in your phone’s application settings.
2.3 Mobile Application Notifications
If you consent to notifications via the VoltiNet Mobile application, you will start receiving notifications on the device where the VoltiNet Mobile application is installed for the purpose of informing you about charging processes, account status, payment status of transactions, developments regarding the VoltiNet station network, and current campaigns. You have the opportunity to turn off notifications at any time you wish. This process can be done from the section related to notifications in your phone’s application settings.
3. METHOD OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA, LEGAL BASIS, AND PARTIES TO WHOM THIS DATA IS TRANSFERRED
Your personal data is obtained through the VoltiNet Mobile Application, Call Center, WhatsApp, ChatBot, E-mail, and Social Media channels for the purposes listed under the first title of this Clarification Text and based on the legal reasons specified above.
Your personal data may be transferred to the following persons for the purposes stated, in accordance with the conditions specified in the Law regarding the transfer of personal data.

5. YOUR RIGHTS AS THE DATA SUBJECT
We inform you that as the data subject, you have the following rights pursuant to Article 11 of the Law:
Everyone has the right to apply to the data controller and:
a) Learn whether their personal data is being processed.
b) Request information if their personal data has been processed.
c) Learn the purpose of processing their personal data and whether they are used in accordance with its purpose.
d) Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad.
e) Request rectification of personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurately processed.
f) Request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions set forth in Article 7.
g) Request notification of the operations carried out pursuant to sub-paragraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred.
h) Object to the occurrence of a result against herself/himself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems.
i) Request compensation for the damage in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data.
